Orientate yourself, man!

Beloved of Christ

We need to note that the focus of all scripture, all the time and in all ways is upon Christ Jesus. Accordingly we should ourselves, when reading the scriptures - old or new covenant, at all times focus our attention on Christ Jesus.

We need always to direct our minds and position ourselves in relation to the cross - Am I reading before or beyond the cross?
Am I reading the shadow of things to come or were they fulfilled?

What Jesus promised came to pass and is ready and available for our benefit. The Holy Spirit is yearning for us to receive Him so that we may, in power obtain opened understanding. So that we do not read Moses (the law), the prophets and the Psalms as if all was not fulfilled on the cross, deceiving ourselves in become human-doings instead of human beings. We should merely receive His righteousness and His Grace, as a free gift.
Luk 24:44-49 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
What promise of the Father?
Joe 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh
Endued?

Endued is to be clothed, to be arrayed and covered with. Jerusalem is place of peace (not labour, not as human doing but just by being).

When Jesus said this, He had already been glorified for the sake of our righteousness! HalleluYAH!

And look at this:
Rom 4:25  Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
... the word translated "for" (in Greek - dia) in the passage above is better translated as: because offore, from, in, by occasion of, of, by reason of, for sake, that, thereby (Strong Concordance)

... you see, Jesus was raised from the dead for the very purpose of Him living in you by His Spirit and this could only have been done once you were justified ... just-as-if you never sinned - holy and sanctified. Why? Simple! God is holy and light and darkness can not coexist. To receive the Spirit of God you needed to become holy first!
2Co 5:21  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Everything, pre- and post-cross is focused on Jesus and the extremes He endured to present to you His precious and undeserving Gift!

... and you will be endued with the Spirit of Power and Truth!

u r dipped in the fountain of His love! Take it!
